A brief history

From visits by historical figures to secret spy-holes in the walls, Arley Hall has seen it all. Lord Ashbrook and his family have opened the doors to this spectacular stately home so that you and your guests can be a part of the history too. There is no-where more perfect to make memories that will last for a lifetime.

No two events are the same here at Arley. Every person who engages in planning an event with us has their own personality and vision and this is something that we reall try to bring to life. We enjoy the challenges that come with running events and are constantly looking to exceed expectations.

My job is so varied. From hog-roasts for a large private party to an intimate wedding celebration in the Gardens there are so many different ways for our clients to enjoy Arley. My favourite part of my role is also the one I dislike the most - I love the end of an event when our clients are so happy with how their event went but I hate saying good-bye!

Our Heritage Portfolio chef's mantra is to 'be brave'. This includes the flavours that we work with, the techniques that we use for cooking and the dishes that we produce. I constantly challenge myself to think of new and interesting ways to create and present our menus and our clients really appreciate it. I always try to throw a 'wild card' dish into the menu options to keep things lively!
